XDi Technology
Revolutionary “Fixation on the Fly” System
Our Kornit Atlas Max Poly printers use advanced XDi technology, enabling “Fixation on the Fly” through dedicated print heads. We apply a diluted fixation base to the garment, then print directly on top using wet‑on‑wet technology with fixation stacking capabilities.
XDi allows us to stack multiple layers: Qfix on the white color bridge bonds white ink instantly, while Qfix on the color bridge delivers the same results for colored inks. Poly enhancer (PE) on the color bridge enhances hand feel and durability for retail‑ready finishes.
- No pretreatment odor or visible box
- Superior adhesion with Qfix stacking
- Atlas Max Poly ink cures at 215°F for synthetic fibers
3D Printing Capabilities
The XDi system enables true dimensional printing by layering: White → Qfix → White → Qfix, creating physical texture and depth. Combined with Poly enhancer control, we can achieve precise hand feel and durability tailored to each application.
- 3D layered texture printing (coming soon)
- Lenticular effects (in development)
- Customizable hand feel with Poly enhance
1. Garment Preparation
A light fixation base is applied and wiped clean, preparing the fabric for perfect ink bonding.
2. Advanced Printing
Our XDi system prints your design while applying fixation layers for superior color and durability.
3. Heat Curing
Prints are cured at precisely 215°F, ensuring perfect bonding on all fabric types including synthetics.
