Laser etching uses focused CO2 laser beams to permanently mark fabric and materials by removing or darkening the surface layer. Unlike printing or embroidery that adds material, laser etching subtracts it—creating designs that are literally part of the fabric itself.

Requirements & Considerations
Minimum Order Quantity
100 pieces minimum for bulk laser etching. Setup and calibration time makes smaller quantities less cost-effective.
Material Compatibility
Best results on leather, suede, denim, cork, and wood. Works on polyester and nylon but requires testing. Not suitable for PVC or highly reflective materials.
Design Specifications
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) preferred for logos and text. High-resolution raster images (300+ DPI) for photographs. Maximum etch area is 12″ x 18″
Production Timeline
Standard turnaround is 10-14 business days including material testing and calibration. Production SLAs are clearly stated per product. Express shipping options are available at checkout and do not affect production lead times.
Sample Approval Required
We always produce test samples for approval before full production. Laser settings vary by material and desired effect, so testing ensures perfect results.
